I just upgraded my motherboard to a board that has on board EIDE. When
I try to boot up the system with this board and the 3C509, the ethernet
card seems to be conflicting with something. On boot up, the system
gets past the 'Starting network' part with no problems, but then when it
tries to start up AFS, it hangs on 'Updating cell location information'.
I tried booting with everything but AFS and it still hangs when
it tries to run gettime. Anyone ever heard of this type of problem?
