probs with X/MS busmouse?

Hi,
well, thanks to Greg, I've got the XFree86 2.1.1 server and libs now on my
machine, and that licks the "blinking" zwgc problem. But now a new problem
appears that I don't recall having when I was using Linux + XFree 2.1.1 --
mouse probs. I have an old-style (dove bar) MS bus mouse, supported under
/dev/mms0 cuz I recompiled the kernel, and it worked fine under Linux + 2.1.1.
But now under NetBSD, double- and triple-clicks no longer have the expected
effect - in fact, they have no effect.
Also, more intermittently, and not readily reproducible, I've had X exit on
me and not be willing to start up, giving a "mouse device busy" or something
like that error message - the X docs say that this is almost definitely not
an X problem, but an underlying OS support problem. Which makes me think that
the above problem is related to NetBSD support of this mouse... I've got it
in my Xconfig file as
busmouse "/dev/mms0"
Emulate3Buttons
Any ideas what may be the problem?
Thanks,
Eric
