This problem may have already been resolved for you. This bug has
been fixed in NetBSD 1.1 patch release 1, which is what you currently
get if you do the NetBSD installation.
Since you sent your message at 9:00pm on January 21 and your custom
floppy and kernel were built at 2:00pm and 6:00pm respectively, you
probably need a new floppy and kernel set. (You can try the stock
kernels to see if they work, though.) What was the problem which
required custom kernels?
