Subject: Page fault and 1.1 question
Date: Sun, 21 Jan 1996 21:02:21 EST
One or two more things. This time, the system boots, but when I try to
copy the XFConfig.eg file to /etc/XFConfig, I get the following error
message:
vm_fault(f82a1000,f86a0000,3,0) -> 1
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
Stopped at _ffs_clusteracct+0x221: movl %ecx,0(%eax,%edx,4)
db>
Any ideas?
Also, should I install 1.1 now instead of 1.0A? What are the
advantages to doing so, and would it require another installation
floppy/kernel rebuild for my computer?
Thanks,
Nick
