ok, so I will try to build a 1.1A kernel.
where is the 1.1A source tree? /usr/src?
and what are the steps involved?
last time I built a 1.1 kernel, I created a ton of links to the sipb source
tree, and did the following:
config <MY_CONFIG_FILE>
make depend
make

I haven't seen any know-bugs list, but the bug problem that
pocky had, with the keyboard locking (for him it happened at
boot time, not when running X) was fixed by building a new
1.1A kernel. you might want to try the same thing...
