Sounds like it's not detecing his network card.  I don't know how the kernel 
was configured, but when I was trying to get mine to work, I found that ep0 
wouldn't recognize my card, but ep1 would.  You might watch the messages as it 
boots up and see if you see any ep0, or ep1 messages when you boot up.  

I'm not sure what this number is, so it may differ from person to person.  
Maybe somebody who knows what their doing could explain that number, even if 
it has nothing to do with your problem.
