Hi,
This is not the usual X problem, so read on.
I've gotten NetBSD 1.1 to work on a 486 with 8Megs of Ram. Athena stuff works
fine on ttys. So I started to turn on the Xlogin in /etc/ttys.
I know all my XF86Config info are correct because it has worked for me in
Linux. All I had to change was the mouse device /dev/tty00.
Now get this, Xlogin starts up with the owl and fuzzball, mouse works too.
But keyboard is locked up. Xlogin responds to all the mouse inputs, but none
from the keyboard. Even num/cap locks don't work anymore.
It seems to me that the kernel has lost contact with the keyboard after Xlogin
is loaded. Maybe 8megs of ram is not enough.
Can anyone help?
David
