okay.  

I think personally I'd rather have something complain about
"Wrong Architecture" then have it say file not found.  (When the
latter happens, I think I haven't added the right lockers, and I keep
adding one till it works or until I run out of lockers I know of to
try.  :-)
)

but, you're probably going to tell me that running binaries for
another machine is bad, and you're probably right.

anyway,

how do you find out who maintains a locker?

this question was brought up by my wanting to run xcolor in the
outland locker.  (maintained by SIPB, I believe)
