linuxbin vs. inbsdbin

I often add a locker, find that what I'm looking for is missing, and
then check /mit/foo/linuxbin/bar and it exists.
so, I guess for the immediate case, I should just write my own add
script that attaches, extends my manpath, and then extends my path to
contain both the inbsdbin and linuxbin.
However, do you think this idea should be implemented for real in
$initdir/.cshrc?
I, for one, would appreciate it.
