buying a new pc

hey people...i'm sending this to both netbsd-help and linux-help
i'm planning on buying the following new PC:
- 16MB RAM, 256K cache
- 1GB mode 4 enhanced IDE HD
- PCI enhanced bus-master ide controller
- PCI diamond stealth Video 64 2MB
- sound blaster compatable 16 bit sound card & amplified speakers
- 4X cd-rom & 1.44 MB FDD
- 17" flat screen color monitor
- MPEG playback video software
- choice of 1 mpeg cd title
- MS encarta 95, ms works, ms money, & ms entertainment
- 14,400 baud fax modem w/software
- netcruiser internet startup kit
- ms windows 95
- 101 keyboard & hi-res mouse
- Intel Pentium 133
now....it's also probably important that this is a Zenon machine
what a want to know is, will i be able to run linux-afs-athena, and/or
netbsd-afs-athena, so please tell me if there will be any hardware
problems (including for X, if you know of them)....send your email the
relevant list....not to both....and please...i don't really want to hear
anything about why i shouldn't get a certain piece of hardware...unless
it wont work...or your opinion is VERY strong (personal email in that
case please)
