Hmm.

Hmm. Did you try that with the original (distribution) disk?

Possible. I've built a new kernel from scratch, same settings as
last time -- could you try it please?

Incidently, it might be more convenient if you were zepherable around
the time you sent us e-mail. If it's not awfully inconvenient, and this
time doesn't work, would you mind bringing your card to the sipb
office at some point?
