OK. I went back and tried installing again with fresh diskettes.
Same error, but I noticed this before that line occured:
mount_mfs: /tmp: invalid argument
./install: cannot write /tmp:var: read-only file system
then it continues on to ask me specifics of my hard disk and boots
me out (as usual).
