Okay, there are apparently two problems with the Athena kernel you got
from the Athena install:
1. It doesn't recognize your network card properly.
2. It uses PCVT, and doesn't work with your keyboard.
I think the best thing for you to do is try out new, easier
installation process, and see if it works better for you. Try
printing out a copy of mit-install-current.dvi:
dvips /afs/sipb/project/doc/netbsd/mit-install-current.dvi
Since you've already partitioned your disk for NetBSD, all you should
need to do is make the NetBSD boot disks and boot off them. I should
warn you that this installation process isn't quite perfected yet, but
it's much easier than the old process, and it uses a kernel which may
be more likely to work with your hardware.
If you have problems with this install process, get back to us.
