I am trying to install Netbsd on my laptop in residence, but have had the
following troubles:
I get up to the part of entering my IP address, and after it figures out the
subnet masks and all of these network config specs, it says:
"Testing network interfaces... vm_fault(ox f046f000, f238d000, 1, 0) -> 1
fatal page fault in supervisor mode
trap type 6 code eip f01c864c cs 8 eflags 10246 cr2 f238deb8 cpl e000cac3
panic: trap
syncing disks..."
At this point, everything freezes. I have to turn my computer off and restart
it.
Any suggestions?
BTW, my ethernet card is the 3com etherlink III 589D. I have a pentium MMX 133
with 16 megs of ram, and windows 95 installed on a partition of my hard drive.
Thanks,
