FYI -- I tried the prelease floppy in
/mit/netbsd/prelease/athena-8.0/floppies/floppy.fs (at suggestion of
nathanw), and got further. It now can see a NetBSD partition's existence,
and asks me the sizes of partitions I want, whether I want to reboot,
etc.etc. But right after I say "yes" to everything the script just fails
and reboots.
My SCSI CD-ROM drive seems to be auto-detecting as a SCSI hard disk. Not
sure why.
