That depends on where you want the NetBSD partition to go on the disk.
NetBSD needs a tagged primary partition to put its data in, and if you
want that partition to be, say, in the middle of the current extended
partition, then you have a bit of a problem. Could you explain more
about your partition setup and where you want the NetBSD partition to
go?
