Could you be a little more specific, please? Please give an example
of something you expected a number pad key to do, and what happened
instead. (Mention what the X application in question is.)

mycroft suspects that this is due to having a parallel port on IRQ 7
along with your soundblaster. You can either tolerate the message, or
change your soundblaster to use IRQ 5. It's not something to worry
about, although it may be annoying to have it showing up in your
console every so often.
The error message has gone away in NetBSD-current (presumably because
of exactly this problem), so it should be gone in the next release.
