I think this is better sent to linux-scsi (Cc:ed it). Also, it reminds me of
problems someone reported with scsiiinfo (where I added a few source lines)
with recent kernels. All this gives me the strong feeling that something
broke with generic commands send to scsi devices in the recent kernels
(don't confuse that with the generic scsi interface).
Someone of the gurus here which currently work on the high and mid level SCSI
layers cares to comment? I think there were a few changes recently.
