Hello All,

In my system I have a TMC8xx Future Domain SCSI-controller with a Seagate
ST41650 1.3GB disk and an Exabyte 8200 8mm drive connected to it.
When I reboot my 2.0.25 ELF system, the harddisk is detected (dmesg)
but I see nothing about the Exabyte. I pass 'tmc8xx=0xca000,5' to the kernel,
which are the correct params.
A 'tar' to /dev/st0 or st1 responds: no such device.
In /dev there exists the st0 and 1 devices with the correct major an minor
numbers i.e. maj=9 min= resp. 0 and 1. 'Owner' of st0/1 is 'root', 'group' is
'disk', is that correct?
SCSI-id of the disk =0, the Exabyte is 1.
Anyone with a bright idea out there to get my 8mm to spin for me?

Vriendelijke groeten/Best regards,

Ivo Naninck         \|||||/
