	Hello,

I've been using my AHA1542C with linux without a hitch for about two
years. And then about a week ago one of my SCSI disks had one partition crap
out. The SCSI disk I'm using is a DEC DSP5400S REV 427L. I've tried using
badblocks to see if it could find where the problem was. But once it finds
it, rather than reporting it, it goes into a loop. I have to reboot to get
my system back. My scsi drive located at id0, has 11 partitions - 1 dos
1 extended and the rest linux ( labelled sda5 - sda13 ). I'm having
trouble getting to sda13. I've tried using the AHA diagnostic tools but
they could not find anything wrong.
I did try sending this to comp.os.linux.admin without any luck.
Any help will be appreciated.

This is the error I get:
scsi: aborting command due to timeout : pid <pid>, scsi0, channel 0, id 0, lun 0 Read (6) 1e b1 1c 60 00
SCSI host 0 abort (pid <pid>) timed out - ressetting
SCSI bus is being reset for host 0, channel 0
aha1542.out failed(2): Sent BUS DEVICE RESET to target 0
Sending DID_RESET for target 0
aha1542.out failed(2): Sending DID_Reset for target 0 <--- This repeats 7x

And then it repeats. And I have to reboot my machine to get it back.
