The NCR 53c810 is supported, as are many other cards in the NCR 53c7xx/8xx
series. The 53c8xx series has two drivers in the Linux kernel actually,
one that has been around since at least 1.2 (maybe more, that's when I
started using it) and the FreeBSD driver ported to Linux. The first one
works fine for me; the second one won't boot on my machine but I think
that's because I have a crappy motherboard.
The NCR is a very good card & inexpensive too. The Buslogic cards are
good too, and although for a while Buslogic wouldn't release the specs to
their cards, I believe they have changed their tune & the driver is now
supported in Linux.
