Hi, I have a strange problem:
My machine is a Pentium 120, 48 Mb RAM, E-IDE ctrl on board with Seagate
HD 1,084 Gb, Sound card, Modem int. card and NOW Adaptec 1542B SCSI ctrl
with Fujitsu M2624FA HD 500 Mb.

The problem:
During the boot operation the system say:
aha1542_in failed(3): Unable to determine Adaptec DMA priority.
Disabling board.

and:

scsi : 0 hosts.
scsi : detected total.

The boot operation run correctly, but I cannot install Linux on my SCSI
HD. :-(
DOS and Windows run correctly with the SCSI HD, they use ASPI4DOS
driver.
My aha card is on IRQ 9, DMA 5, I/O Addr. 0x334 and it seem have no
conflict with others cards in the system.
I'm installing 1.2.13 version of Slackware, but the problem still
persist on RedHat and Debian version too.
Please help me, I don't want install Linux on E-IDE HD (no space free).
Please answer here and in my mailbox too.
