  As I described in previous mail, original driver for Symbios 53c8xx
in 2.2.14 (with Roudier's patch) causes SCSI timeout/reset loop at
boot time with FUJITSU M2513A MO drive. The bevaviour does not change
without the patch.
  I got another driver for DC390x from Tekram's ftp site (version
2.01). The driver does not cause SCSI timeout and/or any other
trouble so far.
  I will use this driver for the time being.
