Unfortunately, you were looking in the wrong spot.  Any time you end up in a
reset loop you will always be timing out.  Anyway, I'm pretty sure I know what
the problem is and that it's already fixed.  You should check the latest
aic7xxx driver code and see if the problem is still there.
