Yes.  The LASound CDX7405 switches to each slot, one after the other,
presumably to check the disc, read something (maybe), and store info
for later on (totally guessing) upon modprobing the BusLogic device
driver.  After that, it doesn't check each CD unless I mount or access
it some other way.
