I recently purchased a new P90 system with this card. I was told (by
the sales person) that this card was designed and built by a couple
of guys who left Adaptec and that it was essentially the same as the
Adaptec 2940. I've tried Yggdrasil Fall 95 and RedHat 2.0 distributions
but so far no boot image will recognize the card.
The card is working with Doze/Win. I have tried the 2940 boot images
that came with the RedHat distribution and tonite I have downloaded
and tried to boot with
2940-bare.img, 2940-sbpcd-nonet.img, and 2940-nonet.img with no success.
Is there a driver for this card?
Anxiously waiting to get my new system up and running the latest version
of Linux.
