HI,
Sorry but after having read all TODO, INSTALL etc etc on the knfsd1-4.7
downloaded from
... I really don't know what I have to do for install kernelNFS .
Ok I have RH6, and the kernel nfs I think it is working. (it is
installed like a module)
But I want to upgrade to 2.2.12 and make my nfs more stable possible.
So .. what i have to do... I really want to understand . When I have the
knfsd1-4.7 tar file what I do with this. I have to recompile the kernel
, run configuire ... etc etc ..
where are the kernel nfs .. on the kernel, on the modules I have to
recompile, ....Ok maybe I miss a big point.
For example ehich is the difference, how you recognize if you have
kernel Nfs or user nfs. Startup ?, lsmod.. but if compiled not like
modeles..
which is the difference between rpc.nfsd and [nfsd] .. processes
Help!
No explanation on the distribution.
I am thinking that it is a mess.
