You want dtc3181e=1 or ncr53c400a=1 - the 53c400 is a different far better
device. (ncr 53c400 owners are probably incredulous at the claim but the
400a is really almost always set up worse still). I use the 400a regularly
with my scanner. It works, kind of , if you pedal hard.
