Has anybody heard of an SPI-300 scsi host adapter ?

[Apologies if you've seen this already ...]

A local surplus retailer has a bin full of ISA SCSI host adapters labelled
"SPI-300" from Sumo Systems of San Jose. They come with an ASPI driver
for DOS.

I'd like to know if these are clones of any of the 'standard' SCSI cards -
in case it is possible to use them under Linux. Has anybody heard of them ?
