Forgive a naive question from a TOTAL newbie to Linux, but does anyone
know the present status of the Adaptec 2940 drivers?
I've tried the patches and bootdisc from Calgary and both give horrific
timeout errors. It's stated that the code is Beta - is there a more up-
to-date version to be had (all the Calgary stuff is dated around Nov/Dec
last).
Interestingly the SCSI-HOWTO says the 2940 is a "standard" driver but
there's no driver code in any of the 1.2.? or 1.3.0 kernel sources.
Hmmm.
Cheers
Keith
