Well, normally the *name* you see in /proc/scsi/scsi is the *exact
name* that the device tells the SCSI subsystem. There is no
ID -> name mapping as there is in PCI, for example.
Maybe there is a jumper/DIP on the drive to select between ``generic''
and ``Philips''. In any case, I don't see the real point in this.
