Hi all,
Normally I would lurk around for a while but I need a fix for this ASAP.
Not sure what happened but when I went to backup before some major updates
BRU couldn't find the tape drive. The drive is a HP T4000 External connected
to a Adaptec AHA-2920A using the fdomain driver.
When I load the module this happens:
[root@lisa /root]# insmod fdomain
scsi0 <fdomain>: BIOS version 3.?. at 0xc8000 using scsi id 7
scsi0 <fdomain>: TMC-36C70 (PCI bus) chip at 0x7fa0 irq 11
scsi0: Future Domain TMC-16x0 SCSI driver, version 5.44
scsi: host 1
fdomain: REQUEST SENCE Key = 4, Code = 40, Qualifier = a0
fdomain: REQUEST SENCE Key = 4, Code = 40, Qualifier = a0

[root@lisa /root]#
I have tried everything I can think of or find and no change.
Using "mt -f /dev/nst0 status" gets "Operation not supported bt this
device".
System:
P166mmx
HDD - 2x3.2g IDE
HP T4000
AHA-2920A
glibc 2.0.7-19
BRU2000-15.0P-6
BRU2000-X11-15.0P-6
Before this BRU worked great (I have the backups to prove it), I usually
used the X11 interface as scheduling backups was not really necessary.
I am at a loss as to the next step.
Hope one of you out there has some fresh ideas.
