Hello,
From your follow-up post, I take that it basically worked.
Congratulations!

This is quite true. I was testing the driver and some unresolved SCSI
subsystem problem for the last several months and it never occured to
me to add these LUNs automatically.
(Initially adding didn't work reliably anyway.)
BTW, I intend to post the details about the unsolved SCSI subsystem
once I put my system in working order: I messed it up when I was
trying to update my 2.1.xxx experimental kernel from 2.1.101 to
2.1.125 to see if the problem is still in it. When I tried to fix some
X library-related problems, I messed the configuration, and I had
tough time to revert to 2.0.35 (actually 2.0.36pre1x) because of some
broken files, etc.. Essentially I broke my X setup and this prevented
me from posting the latest about this unsolved problem quicker. You
can search my name or Waltham's name in linux-scsi archive for now
about this problem. It is about system crash caused by simultaneous
access to different CD's in a Nakamichi 7 CD changer device. We made a
little progress, but never the final solution.

Welcome!
