How to I rescan the SCSI bus after hot swapping a hard drive?
Normally, I reboot the system, but am starting to get tired of
resetting up the Desktop (13 virtual).

Is there a simple command (or even a tough one) to rescan the bus to
determine the new ID, etc? I've seen such a program on Macintoshes,
so surely Linux....

TIA
:)
