Install your system first. Download a patch for 3.0.35 kernel.
You need a newer kernel (probably you have 3.0.34).
You'll also have to patch it with the AIC7xxx-5.1.2-2.0.35_patch
that you can get from
ftp://ftp.dialnet.net/pub/linux/aic7xxx/
or
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/aic
Recompile the kernel with the support for AIC SCSI controller and lilo it.
You may have to use 'no_reset' option (i.e. add it in append section of
your lilo boot or '/sbin/modprobe aic7xxx aic7xxx=no_reset' if you
load it as a module. The author of the driver warns to use that option
with caution. Try without first.
