No, you have to have some process which will detect other machine down/crash and than make BUS DEVICE RESET, which will release all reservations. What on of reasons, why scsi reset from time to time may appear. You have to ensure, that this process (call him bus arbiter - I'm not sure if it's correct in english) will run only one machine ....
