Hi,

The SCSI-HOWTO seems to be outdated so here goes...

I now am using an ncr53c810 scsi adapter and am thinking of getting
a Diamond FirePort 40 adapter that uses the SYM53c875 chip. My questions
are which linux dirver supports the FirePort best, the NCR53c7,8xx or
the BSD NCR53C8XX driver? Do they support it's wide 40Mbytes per second
transfer rate? Can I still use my existing scsi hard dirves/CD Rom drive
( 50 pin ) with it and if I do will it slow down the new 68 pin scsi3 hard
drive I am going to get with it? Also I am looking at getting a 4.somthing
Gig scsi3 hard drive, ( I would like it to at least format at 4.0 Gig )
what hard drive would work best/fastest with the FirePort 40?

Thanks for your time.
