also the quantum fireballs stratus are fast and reliable for being 5400
rpm drives.  mine gives me about 8mb/s; I actually also have the ibm
DCAS 4.3 gig too, that also performs reliably.  But I think the quantum
performs better given that it only comes with 128kb of cache while the
DCAS comes with 512kb, and only gives me about 7mb/s transfer rate.
