Check with a plain kernel against which you patch the latest version of
the driver, available from the site named below (leaving out the
7890-Status gives a directory with some READMEs and sub-directories
which contain the patches). Also check the 7890-Status file to see if
it mentions YOUR specific problem, if not, contact Doug Ledford who is
currently maintaining the AIC7xxx driver, his address should be
available somewhere from the site below, I don't currently recall it.
