Hi!

I see no reason why the 53c7,8xx driver shouldnīt work.
Possibly due to some special modifiaction made by Compaq.
However, the driver itself might lack the proper BIOS-, io-adress
in its probing-table; You could compare the resources NT uses with
those in the 53c7,8xx.c-file. If this dosenīt help Your case, I humbly
stand back to let somenoe really good help You.
