hi ..
i have a problem "time out " . i install the slackware on my AST pc
with 2 GB scsi hard disk 32 MB RAM .. booting with the scsi disk
the sda was detect ....i made fdisk so i have 3 partitions sda1 sda2 sda3
fist for dos (200 M) , second for swap (16 M).. the last for the system......
in the setup when i select the target and try to format the system partition
the error "timeout " was display ...what is the problem isn't the linux
support large hard disk ?
so ,,,, i take a new way.... i make a new partitioning for the hard disk
sda1 (dos=200M) sda2 (swap=16M) sda3 (system=200M) sda4 (system=1584M)
but i can't able to format sda4.......i run the setup i install the system in
sda3 ,it was format ok. but in the install of "a" disks the have the same
error "scsi timeout "
please i want to have a linux system running
