Detecting HP SYM Scsi Scanner Card

Howdie,

I was wondering if Linux could detect the Scsi-2 Compatible Scsicard
(called SYM) that is included with the HP Scanner 5p. And if that is
done, where to get some software to actually also scan pictures and
stuff.

This SCSI card, it's impossible to get technical information on from HP.
It's this nasty triangular (probably HP Proprietary) card.

It's going to be out of the running some time soon 'cause they changed
to parallel, or so I hear.

Anybody any experience with said card? Hmmm?
