Yes. But I don't yet understand deeply enough what is going on to know
that monolithic v modular is a big issue. I thought the scsi gurus hung
out on this list and had hoped at least to be reminded what a dunce I was
for not reading some readily available document.
FWIW, the most challenging part (3 hours on a beautiful Sat.
afternoon@#@##!) was getting the system to boot dos again so I could turn
on write permission.
I resent the time. I love the drive. It clearly will do what I bought it
for -huge data files - (ultimately it goes into my alpha box -- when I get
it next month).
