Hi All !
First, as I'm new to this list, please tell if there is any archive of this list ?
I'm planning to buy a Gigabyte GA-6BXDS mainboard which has a Adaptec 7895 Chip onboard (2 scsi channels) for a linux server . The readme for the aic driver says that it is supported. Does anybody use this or a similar board and can please tell me if it works reliably (and fast) ?
Are there any other recommended mainboards (dual-PII) that either have plenty of PCI/ISA slots or as many as possible scsi channels onboard ?
Thanks for your advice.
Urban
