I have the following configuration
PII 300 x 2, 512Mb, AHA-2940
Red Hat 5.0, kernel 2.0.33
with a SONY DAT SDT-9000 on the scsi bus
The problem I have is that the DAT only accepts to work with
standard DDS density. It does not accept DDS-2 (Ox24 code
as documented in mt .. densities), even with DDS-3 tape, and
I do not know, of course, how to use DDS-3 density which is
not documented.
Is there any one who can help me to get out of this vexing
position?
