Hi all

I'm looking for a not expensive board, this board will handle hard-drives
and CD-RW devices.I don't know too much about internals of SCSI, but
looking at the unmantained SCSI-HOWTO I think that the board should have
at least the following characteristics:

Not "expensive"
Ultra-Wide (16 bit bus at 20Mhz)
Well supported by Linux (Advansys, BusLogic, NCR, Ultrastor?)
PCI bus master
Scatter Gatter
Command Queueing
Support to more than one SCSI board

I have take a look at 2.0.33 kernel and I think that these may be a good
choices:

Buslogic and other BT-958 or BT-950 based
NCR 860, 875 and 890 based

Comments, suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

			Ulisses
