There's a handy little device that'll run you ~$26USD called a "Peltier
Cooler." It's a solid-state hot/cold conductor. Commonly used in CPU
heatsinks. Get some thermal grease, and one of 'em, mount it on the HDD's
top. (That's the side that doesn't have the logic board;) Another fan
sucking air out wouldn't hurt either.
