I'm running 2.0.33 on an aic7880 fine, however, reading the aic7xxx driver
document it says that 7890's aren't supported yet. This might be an
indication of why it might nt work. You may, with luck, be able to hack
the driver up some and get it to work, or email the aic7xxx people to see
if they have a beta yet. Otherwise, you're stuck with ide or a 2940. :)
