Actually - no - I have even gone to the extent of applying the latest
patches to a clean 2.0.33 kernel on an IDE drive and then attempting
to access the SCSI drive - to no avail.
The patches are available at
ftp://ftp.dialnet.net/pub/linux/aic7xxx/2.0.33/

Is there anyone out there who has the AIC7890 working successfully ?
