Hi

I have an adaptec 2940 and I am using aic7xxx version 5.0.14. With this new
version, I did not get this error anymore:
 " aic7xxx: Unsupported type 0xff, please mail deang@teleport.com "

Instead, the IRQ number is default to 0 and I got this error message from
insmod:

" (scsi0) Couldn't register IRQ 0, ignoring.
  /lib/modules/2.0.30/scsi/aic7xxx.o: init_module: Device or resource busy. "

My system hung immediately and I had to do a hardboot.

My question is, is there a way to change the IRQ number?

Thank you.

Suryani.
